Dear Brothers,

We were shocked to learn the news about the devastating earthquakes in Central Italy that have taken a heavy toll on the population and entailed enormous material damage and the loss of historical and cultural values.

We share with you the pain and distress caused by the disaster.

On behalf of the General Confederation of Trade Unions, we express our sincere condolences and sympathy with Italian workers, trade unions, and the families and relatives of the deceased.
